Amateur radio: Arrow antenna

I built an arrow antenna for satellite operation. Click here to read more about it.

Amateur radio: PACC contest 2010

Last year I participated in the PACC contest, together with my wife Wytske PD2W and my dear friend Adri PA0RDA. This was a really nice weekend, so we decided to participate again in 2010. Of course, the station has to grow a little bit. We added a 40m vertical to the antenna setup. Other antennas include a Hy-Gain AV-12AVQ and a verrrrry long dipole of 2x 50m to boom on 80m and 160m. See my amateur radio page for details.

Amateur radio: Squalo antenna for 6 meter band

Adrian, a friend of me, is radio amateur too. He is very active on the 6 meter band (50 MHz). Unfortunately, he only has a vertical omnidirectional antenna for this band. So I decided to build a horizontal antenna, since most DX is polarized horizontally. See my amateur radio page for details.
